BRAVERY

To be brave. 

To be brave is to do something that scares you.

But you do, not because you desire to, but because you MUST. 

I was so scared when I moved to New York. 

I was so scared to come out to my family.

Am afraid every time I ask a guy out.

I was afraid when I started my business. 

I was afraid when I confessed to Jonathan that I was in love with him.

I was afraid to to tell Dan that I still love him, even though he ripped my heart to shreds 

I was afraid when I bought my mom's house.

When I decided to take care of her. 

I was afraid to go to the gym and start my diet again, after a lifetime of trip and error. 

I was afraid to apologize to Jade and ask her for forgiveness.

I was afraid to keep living even though I was suicidal.

But these are the things that define us. 

These are the moments that release our hearts and set us free.

These are the building blocks of our character. 

Thank you God for making me

brave.

T open your heart to someone else.

To apologize.

To admit you're wrong.

To admit you're in pain.

People would rather die than do these things.
